Sportsmanship

Sportsmanship is something every athletic team should have and it a great quality every individual player should have when walking in a athletic field in a game. Sportsmanship is something develop by your team. It does matter what sport or what team your on good sportsmanship show that a team respectful and has a great respect for the sport. What make a great team and a great player is not just the skill it’s the team work, and most of all the sportsmanship. Take this for example the Sarah story in west Oregon team about the young girl to had a injury and some two opposite team members help her finish running the bases that great sportsman that will live on forever for years. And that sets a great example for everyone who is in a sport and it mean that if someone is in trouble who is not in your is doesn’t mean you should help them and sportsmanship is something that is respected in many ways and or honored. Having great sportsmanship is a key to being a champion and has a great player. Sportsmanship in some way can be a great aspect in sport and in life. For example you can see that many people with moral in sport anywhere are more respect in many way for example a athletic is not only respected no only the football field but he is also respected outside the football field. Have good sportsman ship also makes u a great player. You can either be good or bad but if u show you great sportsmanship people will see your great sportsmanship in my way your are respected by everyone in the field and outside the court. Most people don't beleiver in great sportsmanship but I do and it one of the thing that most people should still beleive in.

What makes Sportsmanship?
- playing fair
- following the rules of the game
- respecting the refrees decisions

HPHS Reconstitution

HPHS Reconstitution

What's happening in Huntington Park is wrong and unmoral but like everything in the world; Money always talks and the man controls the system.

Sportsmanship

The sportsmanship story was very inspirational the way these two players from the opposite team liz and Mallary helped Sarah when she was injured and could not walk the rest of the bases and the way they carried her throughout the bases was very inspirational and good hearted of them.

The origins of Skateboarding

Skateboarding has become a phenomenon since the 1950's to the present day and still day is. The first skateboard was kind of like a scooter and once they broke off the push bar was broken off and that was the birth of skateboarding. At the time in the 1950’s the was a surfing craze that was sweeping the nation and that when people started to realized skateboarding could recreate the feeling of riding a wave. People feel in love and by 1959 the first Roller Derby Skateboard was for sale.

By the 1960’s companies like as Larry Stevenson's Makaha and Hobie Alter's Hobie began to produce the first true surfing-inspired skateboards and like that skateboarding became very popular almost overnight and so these companies couldn’t keep up with the demand but more skateboarding companies like what we know them as know DC, alien workshop and plan B came in the picture and so fifty million skateboards were sold within a three year period during the 60’s and like a snap of a finger skateboarding became unsafe and so skateboarding fad died as quickly as it had started.

By the 1970’s, Larry Stevenson invented the kicktail, and the first generation of skateboarders laid down the foundation of tricks and style, which like an act of magic brought skateboarding back on it’s feet. In 1973 the urethane wheel was invented, and provided much better traction and speed and, combined with new skateboard specific trucks, allowed skaters to push the difficulty of maneuvers to new levels and with that brought the first really big names being Tony Alva, Jay Adams and Stacy Peralta skateboarding legends.

By the 1980, there was a large growth stage whish saw the construction of numerous concrete skate parks, a rank of professional skaters, magazines and movies. And size of board was changing.

Skateboarding has changed through out the years but till this day it’s still a phenomenon and still rages on.

Wellness, Health, and Fitness

Well it’s very important to have wellness in your life. Although I don’t know the definition but I found a brilliant quote by Charles B. Corbin of Arizona State University that say “Wellness is a multidimensional state of being describing the existence of positive health in an individual as exemplified by quality of life and a sense of well-being.” It brings peace of mind and harmony to your life and health is the most important aspect in everyone’s life. Every one needs a good diet and to get plenty of exercise which relates a lot with Fitness. Fitness means Good health or physical condition, especially as the result of exercise and proper nutrition. And now days to many Americans health is not a aspect and most Americans don’t really keep track of their health. These three terms are very important but without balance are useless. Balance is the ability to maintain a specific body positions in either a stationary or dynamic situation.
Here are a couple of them that are very useful when try to balance wellness, health and fitness.

Balance is the ability to maintain a specific body positions in either a stationary or dynamic (moving) situation.
Coordination is the ability to use all body parts together to produce smooth and fluid motion.
Agility is the ability to change direction quickly.
Reaction time is the time required to respond to a specific stimulus.
Speed is the ability to move rapidly. Speed is also known as velocity (rate of motion).
Power is the product of strength and speed. Power is also known as explosive strength.
Mental capability is the ability to concentrate during exercise to improve training effects as well as the ability to relax and enjoy the psychological benefits of activity (endorphins).

Social health-The ability to interact well with people and the environment and to have satisfying personal relationships.
Mental health-The ability to learn and grow intellectually. Life experiences as well as more formal structures (e.g., school) enhance mental health.
Emotional health-The ability to control emotions so that you feel comfortable expressing them and can express them appropriately.
Spiritual health-A belief in some unifying force. It varies from person to person but has the concept of faith at its core.

Tyler Haws

Tyler Haws

His story is very inspirational and his policy about practice is very inspirational as well although he had to wake up in the morning to go practice for a whole summer and practicing two hour every day before morning and he never complain but now it's paying off he has leaded his team and his school Brigham Young to the state championship so if you work hard, work smart, work together you will accomplish any goal you have and you will accomplish that with practice and hard work.

I believe that freedom is something that you earn. It’s a privilege and like privileges can be easily can be taken away at the as fast as a heart beat. People through out our history have been fighting for freedom and have died for it but died knowing that, one day they shall have it, maybe not in body but in mind and in Soul.

‘’Freedom is a privilege but like privileges can be easily be taken away and with out it. Life is no longer life’’
-- Manuel “Kill_moose” Parra

Choosing the right will never lead you to losing your freedom and will be the complete opposite it will lead you to great opportunities in expanding your freedom and allow you to explore your freedom in a lot of way possible by traveling etc. but if we choose the wrong it will lead us to prison and maybe even death and to live in a country like the untied states it’s kind of a privilege because in this country you can express your freedom in many way and when your born you are born with freedom. Which is a lot to say then in other country where freedom is not granted to everyone. For example in Cuba, people can say,do ,write anything against the government because of communism and it’s horrible. Anything you say about the government can make you end up six feet under ground the government in Cuba doesn’t allow anything to be said bad about the government because people don’t want other people to know about what happening there but I think we should all be great full for our freedom and thank God everyday for what we have.
